Firstly a big thank you to everyone who came and made the day such a joyful one to be part of. It was a real pleasure inviting you into our home and sharing with you all of our beautiful brand new stock.
What a beautiful day, one that by all rights should have been grey and dismal just like the two either side. Did you see the size of the hailstones on Sunday!? They were so big they were stopping traffic… Weren’t we lucky!
I must admit, when Saturday came round we woke up a little panicked, having not had the time to mow the lawn due to the weather… but we soon got our act together, filled the mower up with petrol and passed it over the grass just in time.
Once that was done everything else came together, the Pimms was prepped and all of our wonders were set out on display on the lawn and with the sun shining down on us, the fun began.
The Parasols set the scene, royal India meets rustic country garden. Under each parasol a small scene was set for the imagination to run wild. Fabrics and furniture combined, newly discovered treasures were getting snapped up left right and centre. Such glowing feedback and plenty of happy faces :)
Such an array of delights to behold, including our fabulous Kantha Quilts and Cushions, handwoven woollen rugs, an array of antique furniture, including wooden chests and cabinets, tribal pida chairs and tables rescued from decaying temples and pulled down palaces, we even managed to find an repurposed Elephants saddle. (Fergus seems to think it’d make a great dogs bed).
Amidst the wonder of the modest grandstand, Fergus still managed to find himself at the centre of attention, well, enough to keep him happy at least (it’s a tough life being a well loved and looked after dog).
The occasion certainly made us happy and now we’re very excited to be able to get Kasakosa to you, our friends at home (kasakosa.com is nearly here)! This is only the beginning of what promises to be a wonderful journey.
What a lovely day to be part of, we’re already looking forward to the next one and we hope you are too!
Were you at the party? Let us know if you enjoyed yourselves? If you’d like to make any suggestions then please leave a comment and we’ll get back to you. Your input really means a lot to us :)
