    Mughal art technique

Miniature Mughal art, hand painting technique has been refined over the generations. Mughal paintings are usually crafted on silk and paper and almost certainly will feature prominent designs of Hindu deities, symbols, animals and landscapes.

Originating in the Himalayas  in the 17th Century and developing through the generations, Mughal art miniatures remain very popular, to this day.
