    The Pattern:

The geometric patterns are typical of the traditional Mughal designs that depict Allah/the all encompassing energy that formed us and they are usually vegetal or floral by design, some even signify mans relationship with the infinite nature of the universe.

    The Material

The wool for this rug has come from pastoral farmers in the Thar desert in Rajasthan. High quality wool that’ll withstand the test of time, made to bear the usual wear and tear a rug goes through under foot. Remove your shoes for an extra long life :)

    Quality:

These gorgeous wool rugs are some of the finest in India, with the collective having won several national awards between them. We’re told that the secret to their success is because of the looms they use and the refined technique employed. The weave on their rugs is nice and tight. The fine weave is noticeable when viewing the patterns of these woollen rugs.

    Care:

As previously stated, this gorgeous wool rug will last longer if you refrain from wearing your shoes whilst walking on the soft natural fibres. Wash it by hand with warm water. Try and steer clear of abrasive cleaners :)
