Bring character and style to any room in your house with this beautiful handwoven wool rug.

You’ll love it even more, once it’s under foot ;)

An eye-catching traditional design, born of a craft that’s grown through the ages.

Originally rug weaving was brought to India by the Persians in the 16th Century and continues to blossom today.

A functional soft furnishing that looks great, feels great and will keep your feet warm throughout the seasons.

Made by award winning rug artisans.

    Dimensions:

    5ft 11″ x 3ft 10″   =   1.78 m   x 1.15 m

    The Pattern:

The patterns are derived from traditional Indian tribal rug designs. The rug patterns are largely similar to the navajo and native american fabric designs. Isn’t that amazing, so much distance and yet so much similarity, the human race really is capable of incredible things.

The bold, striking colours the weavers have chosen to use, have really resonated with us and we believe that you’re going to love them!

    Colours:

The colours of the rug are fairly represented by the photographs.

    The Material

The wool for this rug has come from pastoral farmers in the Thar desert in Rajasthan. High quality wool that’ll withstand the test of time, made to bear the usual wear and tear a rug goes through under foot. Remove your shoes for an extra long life :)

    Quality:

These gorgeous wool rugs are some of the finest in India, with the collective having won several national awards between them. We’re told that the secret to their success is because of the looms they use and the refined technique employed. The weave on their rugs is nice and tight. The fine weave is noticeable when viewing the patterns of these woollen rugs.

    Care:

As previously stated, this gorgeous wool rug will last longer if you refrain from wearing your shoes whilst walking on the soft natural fibres. Wash it by hand with warm water. Try and steer clear of abrasive cleaners :)
