Firstly we’d like to thank everyone who visited us at Stansted Garden Show, thanks for all your love and support and happiness that helped make the show such a success. We’d also like to thank the organisers for making us feel so welcome and for putting on such an excellent event!
Wasn’t the weather lovely! Well, excluding Saturday morning’s downpour which nearly washed us out. Between you and me, it was a close call.. water was pouring in through some “conveniently” placed eyelets usually used for ventilation, but our marquee held strong and at first sign of a break in the clouds we erected our (some might say lucky) sun parasols and the sun came out for the rest of the day! ;)
What a lovely response the parasols received, thank you for all the kind words and compliments, it really was a pleasure talking to you about the high level of craftsmanship that has gone into each individual item.
Personally, I enjoyed watching the admiration on the faces of everyone who saw them. From the initial awe of the design, to the touch of the fabrics and to the amazement of the patterns on the inner lining, not a detail was forgotten with everyone quick to chose their favourite. It really was an enjoyable experience for all.
While the parasols were certainly the highlight for many, our lanterns and lamps, Kantha quilts and cushion covers and especially our organza curtains certainly received the attention they too deserve. Didn’t they look beautiful floating in the sunshine?
But it wasn’t just Kasakosa at the garden show, so, here’s a shout out to our friends and personal show favourites at My Vintage House and Lordington Lavender, oh, and a big thank you to Stansted Farm shop for the delicious wood fired pizza. We’re already looking forward to next year!
As many of you already know, this is an exciting time for Kasakosa because we’re expecting a delivery of lots of new stock any day soon!! Beautiful Indian antique furniture and ornaments, handmade woollen rugs, and of course many more fabulous parasols! So watch this space…
Feel free to leave us a comment, we’d love to hear from you, especially if you saw us at the show.
